Update: issue was resolved, and my ring is as good as new. I highly recommend purchasing the protection plan. However, Maria helped us and kept us up to date regarding the state of my ring being fixed. Very happy with the outcome.

I question the quality of their product. Ring purchased end of March, serviced in April, and the diamond fell out while walking around the grocery store. Luckily the ring had a warranty. When I called, I was greeted by whom I assume was the manager who was lovely and talked me out of my panic, stating that I had a warranty and the diamond will be replaced.

However, when I went to the store I dealt with another sales person who was cold, and felt like was interrogating me about the diamond falling out, then proceeding to shove it in my face to show the broken claw (again, poor quality) and stated "see, it's broken." Firstly, can't see very well without my glasses, especially it being shoved 3 inches from my eyes. Secondly, a claw shouldn't break that easily, considering I was just doing groceries.

She then stated that per the warranty the ring needs to be serviced every six months. This was never told to my fiance, but was also irrelevant to this situation as it had only been 5 months since I got it sized and I assume it was looked over at that time.

I'm hoping this will be the last time I have this issue, but I am afraid of if it does and I have to bring it back that I'll be treated like I'm trying to pull a fast one.

Furthermore, a 4 week turnaround time for basically everything is a little excessive.

It is a beautiful, but I'm pretty disappointed in both the quality and how I was treated.

Christmas 2024 UPDATE - amazing people at the St. Laurent Store.
They Always treat me with respect when I drop by to look even if I do not buy on that day! A big shout out to Whitney and Maria and many others there. I will certainly be ordering more special orders from them.

Update - September 2024. - Staff amazing, Attentive, always working hard when I come in to see that I am taken care of and I have been recommending them to my friends and staff as well!

Since this, I met a manager Marie at the St. Laurent location. VERY NICE AND VERY PROFFESIONAL - No Rush Service! 5 Stars to her.

Had a single supposed to be .50 carrot diamond solitaire
( poor cut and color ) and supposed to be a decent quality only to find out it is only .48 NOT .50.
Now that may not sound like much but when took it for appraisal was very disappointed and now my insurance says only 1200 and I paid 1700 on a list price of 2100.00

I am upgrading the star by one for Mary and her district manager Farah as they have really gone out of the way to help me find the best ring. I ended up spending more on a new ring, and I am satisfied so far.

I will upgrade to a 3 star for now until I see the new ring and what incentive's they have to keep me coming back. Mothers day is coming after all.

NAZANIN is an amazing sales.She went above and beyond and help me to get the best deal possible. Even tho I will not be purchasing this time cause of the timing issue, I will recommend her to anyone to get your dream ring. 100% would recommend. Hopefully next time when the 70% deal happen again and we will be back.

This is just false advertising and a lie in my opinion (and probably by others).
I walk in to the Griffin Jewelry store to look at silver rings.. They didn’t have any but some of the tungsten rings they had caught my eye.. I try them on, end up liking one and get told by the manager that those are not infact 70% as the store advertised. Granted they still have somewhat of a sale going on but I don’t see how this can’t be false advertising.

The second star is for the lady that was helping me very well. Great customer service from the older employee that was really trying her best it seamed.

I was a long term customer of their Bilings Bridge store where I spent thousands of dollars. I love the store staff and personal experience.

When it closed I was forced to go to St. Laurent location. It wasn't very enjoyable and the quality of service in terms of workmanship and service wasn't to my standards. I sent a email to their head office which was replied to within 24 hours and it looks like my concerns will be addressed. I appreciated the quick response and their willingness to try to solve my issues.

The regional manager I talked to was outstanding.
