I was referred to Sam by a friend of mine because I was getting into the watch scene. The first time I called him I let him know that I was coming from Windsor to Toronto to buy a watch from someone I didn't know but seemed to be trustworthy. The problem was I was coming down on a Sunday and Geneva Group was closed. I let Sam know I could come down another day but he was the gracious enough to let me know that he would open up his store for me on that Sunday to make it more convenient for me for the authentication report. I didn't want to take advantage but he insisted. Ever since then I have gone to Sam to authenticate many more watches and he's also brokered some deals for me.

When you are considering buying a watch or having jewelry authenticated and evaluated, Sam is your man!

Easy and hassle free jewelry repairs at reasonable prices. I heard about this place from my mom, who had gold chain repaired here, and she’d said that the turnaround rate was excellent, and so was the work. This time, they’d helped me fix a silver pendant with a loose bail, and the quality of work actually exceeded my expectations. I’ve had an overall very good experience at Geneva Group, and would definitely recommend this place to others!

I paid before the repair and the strap therefore was final sale. When I picked it up my watch strap was damaged the new one that was replaced. I was very disappointed. See photo. Now I have to fix it myself.

SCAM
My Seiko 5 watch was running slow so I brought it in to be calibrated. I was charged $55 for them to just open the watch and look at it even though I knew exactly what was wrong and told them what the issue is.
Three weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I went back in to the store. After making me wait outside the store for about 20 minutes he said that he thought he had called me but I was never called. He said that the watch needs work and new parts but wouldn't say what was wrong with it. It didn't even look like he had opened the watch (there was a large speck of dust inside the transparent case back which was still there in the exact same spot).
He then tells me that it will be about $250 to repair the watch which is more than I paid for the watch itself.
I don't think he even looked inside my watch, just took my money then said it needs more work for more money.

Finally had the pleasure of meeting Sam Messiha from Geneva Group. Can honestly confirm that he is a gem of a human. He helped vacillate a transaction and all went smooth as butter. He also provided me with an appraisal/authentication report for my Audemars Piguet Offshore. From the second you meet him it’s easy to see why everyone always brags and raves about him! I recently visited this store to get my watch adjusted to my wrist. the jeweller was incredibly nice and informative. He got my watch ready for me in like 2 minutes. he was very quick and gave me a quick lesson on watches and taught me some things. if you like watches i would highly recommend visiting this store. He has a very wide variety of watches and jewellery. Even if u aren’t buying it’s a very fun store to window shop
