This store is closed permanently. If you look in the updates you will see a note from the owner about how you can contact him to order boots. We love Nokian boots and we were hoping to buy some from the store in Powassan, but unfortunately only looked at the opening hours and not at the updates before we made the drive. I cannot talk about the customer service from the owner as we bought our original boots somewhere else over 10 years ago.

Terrible place. After many years of ordering boots successfully I found that I was being over charged for years by a lot. One can purchase the same boots overseas from several vendors for around $150. U.S. including shipping. I was being over charged by almost $100. My last order was a complete scam. Peter Brushey took my order and charged my credit card number. I never received the boots after six months, repeated emails and calls. He is a complete crook. DO NOT ORDER.FRIM BRUSHEY’s. They are a scam!!!

Peter sold me a pair of Nokia Naali boots and they leaked .. so the boots were sent back to be “patched” with blobs of glue ( and they still leak) untill my new replacement boots could be sent under warranty. I have been calling and emailing him for the last two years without response I’m guessing I will never get those new boots ever…

BEWARE. Brusheys is a scammer. We ordered a pair of boots. Was charged nearly 300USD. Going on 5 months later and no boots. The Brusheys website is gone now. Our calls and emails are not answered.
(Found the same Nokian boots direct from Finland for about 119USD and they arrived within a couple of weeks.)
Still fighting my bank to get my money back.

Unfortunatly, this is the only place you can get the nokian boots in Noth America. The owner is trying hard but he is so confused that its the worst customer experience I have ever had. He sends the wrong size, sends the pair you oredered to someone else, provides the wrong size of felts that goes with the boot you ordered, never calls you back. I had to call every week for two months to finaly get the boots home, but he sent me the wrong size felt. Contacted him about it and he was supposed send me the proper felt but I never received it after almost 3 weeks. I had to go to Canadian Tire and buy a cheap Kamik replacement polyester felt to fit my Nokian boots. They are just awefull. They don’t do it on purpose, thet are just not organised and verry confused. Thats too bad cause these boots are awesome!

Great boots! No concept of customer service. Edit. I have been to the shop in Powassan twice. Once about 20 years ago (give or take a few years) and again today (Saturday) at around 1 pm. The store was closed today. Sign on the door said go next door. Shop next door is closed and doesn’t open Saturdays. Go back to the door and see a small note that says call cell# xxx. I left. Wore the boots many years ago and thought I might get another pair. No such luck.

A year after I’ve paid for my boots, I never got them. And I am still fighting (despite 10 calls) to get my money back. If you want rubber boots or expect anything, buy elsewhere.

Great service , friendly atmosphere . Unfortunately right now not a big selection due to inability to receive goods from Europe . Definitely recommend this high quality boot .
