DO NOT BUY A GE PROFILE REFRIGERATOR!! A HUGE PILE OF JUNK. FREEZER HAS HAD TO BE COMPLETELY REBUILT TWICE. IT TOOK OVER 5 months to get it to a working condition. YES, over 5 months without a freezer. Within less than 6 months it’s OUT AGAIN. THE AMOUNT OF FOOD AND MEDICATION WE LOST IS REALLY SAD. WE ARE NOW GOING THROUGH THE PROCESS FOR THE FOURTH TIME. WAITING ALL DAY WITHIN THEIR “Time Window”. I could’ve taken a really nice vacation for the amount of time I spent waiting, literally days and days for the “repair tech” to get here. SO…WE ARE WAITING FOR THE FOURTH REBUILD. BECAUSE IT TAKES SO MANY TIMES FOR THE TECH TO COME OUT (to fix it once and we are now rolling into a fourth “rebuild/fix”) WE’VE LOST AN IMMENSE AMOUNT OF TIME, MONEY, FOOD, MEDICATIONS, AND PATIENCE. What happened to customer service. Apparently it didn’t truly exist. We bought the refrigerator from famous Tate. BODEWELL IS THE PARTY WHO IS SUPPOSED TO FIX IT. NOT HAPPENING!!!!!! GOOD LUCK AND MOST HAVE IMMENSE PATIENCE. TO GET A MAJOR APPLIANCE REPAIR/REPLACE IS A JOKE.

DO NOT BUY GE APPLIANCE. They have unreliable service standard from GE and Bodewell. I requested repair because of water leak inside refrigerator and Bodewell sent out a technician for $130+ trip charge. The technician ordered parts and charged $500+, labor and parts. After he installed the parts, the problem was not solved and water still leaked. He came back 3 times to adjust and nothing changed. He had no idea why water leaked. I contacted Bodewell for assistance. They said that they could send a technician again with trip charges. I questioned why they are charging me again as they could not fix the problem from day one. That was the ability of the technician. He did not know how to fix the water leak, and I wonder the parts ordered was necessary. I paid $500+ and the problem is still unsolved. I will not pay a penny to them as the result will be the same, and going to buy a new refrigerator, definitely not a GE. They do not responsible to their job or care about customer's concern, just keep charging. Not acceptable. Poor technic and service standard.

Avoid bothering with this company for appliance service calls.
They scheduled a 4-hour apt window (1-5pm) called to confirm the apt 5 times within THREE MINUTES before cancelling the apt outright, which means if you do not answer the phone immediately after they attempt to contact you while waiting around during a four-HOUR window, they will make you reschedule. They clearly are incapable of even spelling customer service. Spend your money elsewhere.

Worst customer service ever. 2 no shows, 1 late show, and washing machine is still not working. Lied to say basement was flooded and there was standing water, which has NEVER happened. Service person was incredibly rude and attempted to get me to pay him directly to return. Now they have cancelled my warranty due to the lies in the report and will not fully refund me, even though this is the only time I have attempted to use it. Run away fast from this company, and GE appliances.

My thermostat in my refrigerator went out four years ago, and the technician brought out the replacement part and fixed it. It went out again, and I made an appointment to get it fixed. They didn't bring the part out, and now I have to wait yet another ten days for a replacement! In the meantime, I have frozen food in the refrigerator and will have to wait for it to get fixed before I get more groceries. I'm really upset about this situation!!

Been waiting 6 weeks to get my dishwasher fixed. This company is simply no good!!!! I keep getting rescheduled, wrong part, not knowledgeable, etc. Im so done!!!!!!!! I wanted to put 0 stars but it doesnt allow me. Bad business!!!! Cant even get anyone by phone!!!!!!!!

Rick repaired my GE Front load washing machine. He took the time to explain the Smart dispense feature on my Utra Vent machine. Also he switched the door opening from left to right to right form left so that the door opens towards the dryer door so making transfers easy and efficient. Thank you Bodewell and thank you Rick

I had an appt for a minor issue with my refrigerator ice maker. However the service technician, Ray #0999, noticed a more serious problem, not related to the ice maker. His observation & experience saved me from a major problem! Much appreciate his professionalism. All parties involved helped with a perfect resolution. Thks Ray!
