The owner, Alex is an inexhaustible fountain of knowledge on all things vintage clothing. His reputation as "The Denim Whisperer" is well-earned and can be experienced for oneself if one is in the market for a new favourite pair of jeans. A trip to the Annapolis Valley is incomplete without a visit to this gem a vintage clothing store!

Popped into this little gem of a store and we were greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and charismatic. This store is filled with the coolest finds with lots of stories behind them. I highly suggest popping in and having a look and listen to some stories. One of the stores in kentville where I’ve had the best experiences. Will most certainly be back!

Omg this place is such a hidden gem in Kentville. I dropped by for the first time today and will definitely be back. It’s aesthetic, has suuuuper well curated pieces with lots of sizing and the dressing room is huge and gorgeous! So much unique stuff.

If you’re like me and can’t find a good fitting pair of jeans you HAVE TO visit the denim whisperer (aka Alex). To get the most out of the experience, let Alex pull jeans for you and watch as they magically fit perfectly AND get a full history on that pair of jeans. Alex is a true wizard and I’m never shopping anywhere else for jeans ever again <3

Ametora Supply is an absolute treasure. How exceedingly rare it is to find a vintage shop that is both size and gender inclusive.

We sparked conversation with the two owners of the shop, and found that an hour had flown by before we knew it! I ended up finding some incredibly rad piggy banks (for a VERY reasonable price) and made some new friends in the process.

I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area, or to those willing to go a little out of their way for something special.
